My Role

Technical Product Manager (Oct 2023 - Jun 2025)

  • Lead a team of 3 product managers to deliver the company's first 3 Built On Workday applications to the Workday marketplace within 6 months
  • Pioneered the use of Figma to design the UI/UX of Built On Workday applications, which lead to the direct sale of 2 custom apps to 2 enterprise customers and the creation of a Product Designer role within the company
  • Oversaw the 6 month implementation timeline of 2 custom apps and 2 BoW apps for 4 new customers
  • Oversaw the design and development of a partnered app with Cloverleaf for the Built on Workday marketplace that was completed in 2 months
  • Established, owned, and managed the product development lifecycle of the technical solutions practice
  • Mentored the company's first Product Designer on direction and design decisions for 12 different applications
  • Oversaw the process for an asset divestiture initiative for an enterprise customer with a team of 8 consultants that was completed in 1 month

Problem & Context

Small and midsize businesses struggled with managing customer payments, requiring custom development and manual intervention. The lack of integration between payment processing and financial systems created operational complexity, delayed cash flow, and reduced customer satisfaction.

My Contributions

As Technical Product Manager, I lead a team of 3 product managers to deliver the company's first 3 Built On Workday applications to the Workday marketplace within 6 months. Impact & Results

Customer Portal Payments transformed how small and midsize businesses manage customer payments by leveraging Workday's out-of-the-box Customer Portal and integrating seamlessly with Stripe. The app eliminates the need for custom development, providing a fully automated, self-service payments experience with zero manual intervention. Businesses can now gain visibility and control invoice payments, manage transactions, and automate reconciliation directly within Workday Financials, reducing operational complexity, accelerating cash flow, and elevating customer satisfaction.

Challenges & Solutions

The primary challenge was creating a seamless integration between Workday's Customer Portal and Stripe while maintaining the security and scalability of Workday technology. We had to balance the needs of small and midsize businesses with Workday's enterprise-grade platform requirements. Managing the product team and coordinating with consultants required strong project management and communication skills. Additionally, designing Workday Extend applications in Figma and translating those designs into functional solutions required deep understanding of both the Workday platform and user experience design principles.
